A teen runaway who escaped a violent, traumatic childhood, Michelle beat the odds when she rose up from a part tije bank teller to a respected Reagions Sales Manager, Vice President and Branc Manager in 13 years. A violent home invasion & bank robbery ended Michelle Renee’s career. After she and her daughter recovered from the trauma, Michelle earned an AA degree in Mass Media Communication studies with an emphasis on PR and Marketing. She launched VERB Media Group in 2009, first as a public relations agency. Michelle closed VERB’s doors in 2012 following her daughter's MS diagnosis to become her full time caregiver. During that time Michelle began to study video production, digital marketing and social media for business. With her lifelong passion for creative storytelling,, VERB underwent a reinvention in 2014 and relaunched as a video, photo and podcast production agency focused on compelling event and video podcast content.
Today VERB is a thriving visual media agencyMichelle is also a published author, producer and writer on the film based on her first book, Held Hostage, and currently working on her second book release, Nine Day, scheduled for release 2/22/23. She has spoken on multiple stages, has been featured on multiple podcasts and television shows, including an upcoming episode of 48 hours on CBS, and has written for Huffington Post Fearless Voices. She is the proud mom and blessed to also now work with her daughter, VERB Executive Asst., Breea.
